TARDIES
Students are expected to be in their seat and working on their warm up when the bell rings. If a student is tardy, they must
have a pass to enter the classroom. Tardies will be recorded and discipline action will occur through the Assistant Principal's
office.
HOMEWORK
Homework will be necessary for completion of class work, practicing problems, or to prepare for the following days activity.
Depending on how well the student works in class will determine the workload at home. Not all homework assignments will
be collected. However, there might be a pop quiz over homework information
TESTS
Tests are a comprehensive measure of lecture, lab and homework assignments. All major exams will only be allotted 50 minutes
of class time. Students are expected to finish in the 50 minutes and will not receive extra time.
STUDY TIME
Biology is a cumulative subject very much like a foreign language. Therefore, it is important to practice on a daily basis.
Here are a few tips that will help you to be successful:
1. Re-read notes daily
2. Do your homework!!!
3. Prepare questions from previous days lesson to be addressed at the beginning of the period on the next class day.
4. Arrange for tutoring immediately when you fall behind.
