Ms. Danielle Bairrington:
Ms. Bairrington was born in Fort Worth, Texas. While she was growing up she moved around with her family until she finally
graduated high school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She attended Texas A&M and earned her bachelor's degree in Nutritional
Sciences in 2004. After graduating, she lived and worked in Washington D.C. Upon returning to Texas, she enrolled in a Masters
Degree Program at A&M to pursue her Masters in Education. She graduated in August of 2006. This is her second year teaching
and is very excited about the upcoming year at Stratford High School. She is also the Assistant Director for the Academy of
Science and Engineering.
Mrs. Kristi Gholson:
Coach Gholson grew up in Austin and graduated from McNeil High School. Then she went to the greatest university in Texas,
Texas A&M University, where she obtained a degree in Kinesiology and Secondary Biology Education. Coach Gholson has
taught Biology and coached Varsity Soccer at George Bush High School before joining the Stratford family. She is very glad
to be at Stratford this year and enjoys both teaching Biology in the classroom and times coaching Girls Soccer.
Ms. Brianna Rapini:
Fresh out of the University of Texas at Austin with my BS in biology (along with a great PASSION for science), this is
my second full year of teaching but I am far from inexperienced. Since my freshman year at UT I have had the privilege to
participate in the prestigious UTeach program that trains aspiring secondary math and science teachers by providing various
student teaching and internship opportunities. I student taught at Anderson HS in Austin, Texas in Pre-AP biology, and I
enjoyed it immensely! I also underwent AP training at the AP conference held July 2005 at the University of Texas at Austin.
My hometown is in Lubbock, Texas, but I am very happy to be in Houston where much of my family resides. Besides catching
up on the latest science news on CNN, some of my hobbies include running (I'm a marathon runner enthusiast!) and my passion
for animals. I hope to someday adopt a greyhound from the Houston Greyhound Rescue Organization.
We are so pleased to be Spartans!
